JBL Warranty & RMA Policy

One-Year Limited Warranty

HARMAN International Industries, Incorporated (“Harman”) warrants that your JBL / Harman Kardon Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of your original retail purchase. This warranty protects only the original end-user, is not transferable, and is applicable only in the country where you originally purchased the product (excluding EEA member states and the Russian Federation). This warranty is valid only for products purchased from an authorized dealer .


Warranty Remedy

During the one-year Warranty Period, the product will be repaired or replaced at HARMAN’s option, without charge for either parts or labor. Alternatively, at HARMAN’s sole option, the price of the Product may be refunded, subject to depreciation based on your purchase price. Any warranty service or replacement of parts will not extend the original Warranty Period .


How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request warranty service, you should first contact the dealer who sold you the product, or contact Harman customer support via their country-specific support website. You must provide the original sales invoice or other proof of ownership and date of purchase to validate your right to this warranty. Do not return your product without prior authorization from the dealer or HARMAN. Warranty repair must be carried out by an authorized dealer or service center; unauthorized repairs will void the warranty. This warranty covers all expenses for labor and materials for the repair or replacement, and a reasonable return shipping charge within the country of repair .


What is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover defects resulting from:

  • Damage caused by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect (including the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance) .
  • Damage during shipment (claims must be presented to the carrier) .
  • Damage to, or deterioration of, any accessory or decorative surface .
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions in your owner’s manual .
  • Damage resulting from repairs performed by someone other than an authorized service center .
  • Deterioration of component parts that become worn, torn, or depleted with use, such as batteries and headphone ear cushions/pads .
  • Physical, broken, or liquid damage caused by negligence .
  • Any unit on which the serial number has been effaced, modified, or removed, or units used for other than home use.
