Warranty by Product Type
Active Electronic Products
Technomad active electronic products (e.g., the Schedulon, PowerChiton, DragonFly, Microphones, and other non-loudspeaker products) are warrantied for one year from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture. This one-year warranty also covers any active components of Turnkey PA systems (iPA, mPA, rPA systems), such as amplifiers, mixers, CD players, and wireless mics .
Passive Loudspeakers and Subwoofers (10/5/2 Year Warranty)
Technomad passive loudspeakers and subwoofers (e.g., Vernal, Vienna, Paris, Noho, Soho, Berlin, Cairo, Chicago, Oslo), including those sold as part of a Turnkey PA system, are covered by a multi-part warranty .
- Ten (10) Years: The molded plastic loudspeaker body and lid are warranted for ten years .
- Five (5) Years: All exterior cabinet hardware (catches, strikes, D-rings, and handles) are warranted for five years .
- Two (2) Years: All electronic components (wiring, connectors, crossover, speaker drivers, and switches) are warranted for two years against manufacturing defects .
Failure of any electronic speaker component due to excessive input signal (including but not limited to voice-coil burn-out) is not covered by this warranty. If any defects are found during the applicable warranty period, Technomad will, at its option, repair or replace the product .
How to Obtain Warranty Service
Service and repairs of Technomad products are to be performed ONLY at the factory unless authorized in advance by the Technomad Service Department. Unauthorized service, repairs, or modifications will void this warranty .
- Call Technomad at 1.800.464.7757 (international 617.275.8898), from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday, to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number .
- Securely package the product and ship it to the address provided with your RA. The RA number must be displayed on the outside of the carton, or the package will be refused. Technomad does not pay for inbound shipping .
- Upon receipt, Technomad technicians will evaluate the item to determine if the defect is covered by the warranty .
- If the defect is covered, Technomad will repair and return the product via ground service at no charge (within North America only). Off-continent customers must pay all return shipping and duty charges .
- If the defect is not covered by warranty, Technomad will contact you with a repair estimate. Upon your approval, the product will be repaired and returned at your expense .
Military/Government Sales
Products are warranted for Military/Government applications ONLY if purchased through Technomad-authorized military sales channels. Products sold to Military/Government customers by commercial dealers in violation of this policy will not be covered by any Technomad warranty.
