Cleerline Warranty & RMA Policy
Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions
Cleerline Technology Group warrants that its products will conform to applicable specifications and be free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period depends on the product type:
- Products without electronic components (including cabling, connectors, and non-electronic accessory products): 5 years .
- Products with electronic components (including media extension supplies and testing equipment): 2 years .
Extended Warranty for Bulk Cable
An extended warranty for a total of 25 years of coverage is available for Cleerline bulk cable. To qualify, the cable must be certified using a fiber Optical Power Meter/Optical Light Source test kit rated for certification to TIA-568-C standards. The test data must be submitted within 60 days of the installation's completion .
How to Obtain Warranty Service
In all cases, Cleerline must be given immediate written notice of any defect and the opportunity to inspect the product to determine if a breach of warranty has occurred. Any repairs or replacement covered by this warranty will be at Cleerline’s option. The defective product, at Cleerline’s option, must be either scrapped or returned to Cleerline at its expense and per its shipping instructions .
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is the exclusive remedy for defective products and is solely for the benefit of the original purchaser. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage caused by negligence, accident, solvents, modifications, or problems caused by equipment. It also does not cover the improper assembly of connectors and cable.
